Shenanigans Multiplayer X improves on many downfalls of the original - better physics, better netcode, better graphics and better user interface.
Battle it out in the new Buildmatch gamemode!
In the buildmatch gamemode, players are given time to build bases. Once that time runs out, it's a battle for elimination. Is someone chickening and fortifying themselves? Don't worry, you'll still have a chance to take them on!
Fight with new weapons! Improved is the pitiful attempt at melee weapons made in Shenanigans Multiplayer 1, in SMP X melee weapons act like melee weapons! ROCKET LAUNCHERS!!! Blast your friends and foes like you've never done before.
Shenanigans Multiplayer X is still an early access beta, this means that some of the features from the original are still missing. There is no customization, no explosive barrels and no physics blocks. I hope to achieve feature parity soon.

Can anyone tell me why it just stays on the opening screen saying 'Gampixi proudly presents'?
Perhaps Photon (the networking service used by the game) was unreachable. I haven't seen the code in years so I'm not sure about the possible failure modes anymore 🥴, but as far as I remember this one didn't have a bespoke offline mode like the original Shenanigans had.
can someone please let me know what the list of keybinds and controls are for this game?
You can look at and change them in the resolution select screen

It appears that the development for this game died due to unpopularity, and the developer has stopped continuing to make new things.
I haven't stopped making new things. I just don't post updates on itch because I'm too lazy to keep track of multiple devlogs.

now if it had custom vehicles (build cars n' crap) then i would be VERY impressed.
